GARLIC NAAN

Garlic Naan

Ingredients 

1. 1/2 cup maida/All purpose flour.
2. 1/2 tbsp dry yeast.
3. 1/2 tsp sugar.
4. 1/2 tsp curd.
5. 1/3 cup milk.
6. 1 tsp oil.
7. Salt
8. 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
9. 2-3 tsp chopped garlic.
10. 3 tsp coriander leaves chopped.
11. Butter for greasing.
Method
1. Take instant dry yeast and sugar in a bowl.add 1/2 cup lukewarm water , stir and cover with plate. Keep in warm place for 10-15 min.
2. Take 1 1/2 cup maida in large bowl add 1 tbsp curd, oil and salt.
3. Pour water yeast mix prepared ,add milk and mix well.knead smooth and soft dough, if required add 
water to bind soft dough
.
4. Grease dough with oil and place it in a bowl.cover it with moist towel and keep aside for 1-2 hours.you will notice that dough has risen.
5. Knead dough again until smooth for 2-3 min.
6. Make it into round balls, take 1 ball coat it with dry flour and place it on rolling board.
7. Poll it out into long and thick oval shape.

8. Sprinkle chopped garlic and chopped coriander. Press it gently using rolling pin.
Turn the naan and wet top surface with water by hand or brush.

9. Heat tava over medium flame, place naan over it keeping wer side down. Naan will stick to tava.grab tava with its handle turn upside down and keep it over flame,move tava slowly in circular motion until few light brown spots.
10. Remove naan using spatula, it would be golden colour.
11. Brush naan with butter and serve hot with punjabi curry.
