Vada Pav


Ingredients

*big pav.
*potatoes.
*musterd seeds.
*curry leaves.
*asafoetida.
*garlic and green chilli.
*turmeric powder.
*coriander.
*salt.
*full dhania.
*all purpose flour/besan.
*soda.
*oil.
*green chutney.
*red chutney.
*green chilli.

Method

1. Boil potatoes,peel and mash them in a bowl.
2. Heat oil in a pan,add mustard seeds and crackle them,add curry leaves,asafoedita,garlic,green chilli,turmeric powder.
3. After 2mns pour tempering in mashed potatoes.
4. Add coriander chopped,salt and dhania.
5. Mix well and make balls,keep aside.
6. In other bowl,make a smooth batter of besan,turmeric powder,asafoetida,soda,salt and water.
7. Batter should not be soo thick or thin.
8. Dip slightly balls in batter and coat it evenly with batter.
9. Drop these in a oil with medium flame.keep until its golden brown.
10. Take pav,cut from middle in one sideto other but not fully.apply green chutney and ref chutney and keep vada in it.
11. Serve hot with green chilli.
